After the alarm went off at 4:15 this morning I have to say I wasn't exactly thrilled to go to the airport. But, I've finally arrived in Hampton, Iowa and am thrilled to be here.
The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network's Mobile Action Center is amazing. The van is great and people have been swarming the tent doing the Picture A Cure activity, decorating luminiaria bags and sharing their cancer stories with all of us to remember once we're home.
It's only going to get better, it's still early in the day and every minute more and more people are coming to town!
